About Us

The Dandelion Project is a survivor network created to support and empower women who have experienced domestic abuse. We believe that healing is possible and our mission is to help survivors move beyond trauma, rebuild their confidence and step into a future of freedom.

We provide a safe space for women, offering connection, understanding and guidance through peer support, trauma-informed movement, and community initiatives. Our approach is designed to foster healing from domestic abuse, helping survivors regain their strength, self-worth and independence.

Through our programmes, we focus on more than just recovery - we help survivors thrive. We provide tools, resources and support to rebuild lives, ensuring that every woman who joins our community has the opportunity to reclaim her power and step forward with confidence.

Whether you are seeking support for domestic abuse, looking to connect with other thriving survivors, or ready to take the next step in your healing journey, The Dandelion Project is here for you.

“And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her permission burned brighter than her fears”

Meet Fi

[The below can be switched to be more of a profile about you, rather than introducing yourself, using a different image if you have one.]

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Fi Bool, the founder of The Dandelion Project. As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know how it feels to lose yourself, to question your worth, and to struggle to trust again. But I also know how powerful it is to take that first step toward healing, even when it feels impossible.

The Dandelion Project was born from my own journey of recovery, and it’s now my mission to help women like you rediscover your strength and resilience. Through movement, dance and support, I’ve seen women transform and reclaim their power- and I’m here to walk with you through that journey.

You’re not alone in this, I’ve been where you are, and I’m here to show you that healing is possible. Together, we’ll move forward, rebuild and rise stronger than ever before.

Let’s take that first step. You’re Ready.

A Safe Space:

The Dandelion Project is more than a programme - it’s a safe space where survivors of domestic abuse can reclaim their freedom, build resilience and rediscover their strength. We provide a nurturing environment that fosters healing, connection, and empowerment, ensuring that every woman feels seen, heard and supported.

Through movement-based recovery, we guide women on their journey from surviving to thriving. Our trauma-informed approach helps participants process their experiences in a safe and supportive way, rebuilding confidence and trust in themselves and others.

By joining us, you become part of a strong survivor network - where you are seen, heard and celebrated. Healing isn’t just about recovery - it’s about transformation.

“This programme gave me the confidence to reclaim my life. I finally feel free.”

FAQs

  • Surviving abuse takes resilience, courage and an ability to adapt in ways most people never have to. You have already navigated some of the hardest challenges, and that strength stays with you. Many survivors also develop deep empathy, a powerful intuition, and an incredible ability to support and uplift others. You are not just surviving - you have the power to thrive.

  • Healing is a journey, and it’s okay to take one step at a time. The most important thing is to give yourself permission to heal in your own way. Finding a safe space -whether in a supportive community, therapy, or movement-based recovery like RISE - can help you process your experiences and rebuild trust in yourself.

Movement, mindfulness and self-expression can all play a role in reconnecting with your body and mind.

  • Your story matters. By simply existing, healing and reclaiming your life, you are showing others that it’s possible to move forward. You don't have to be loud or public- empowerment comes in many forms. Offering a listening ear, encouraging others to seek support, or sharing what has helped you can make a huge difference. When survivors lift each other up, we create a powerful network of strength, reminding each other that we are never alone.
